Now scroll down the list till you get to GB 2.3 and double click to uninstall this nusance. ________________________________________________________________ Here are the changes made buy GB 2.3 to your system. 1- On finsh of install plays wav file. "Fart #1!" 2- Sets up 1 icon in the Start Menu, which is a short cut to this text file. and another Icon in the Quick start tray which is a short cut to the screen Saver. It too breaks wind to changing screens. 3- Installs files to folder C:\Program Files\Alt\GB\ 4- The rest of the changes occur during reboot: (Through the Registry*) a) Start up screen changed to a Cherb Farting. b) Fart Wavs play for opening and closing windows, Programs,ect..* c) Detecting the presence of toxic gases HTML program runs .* d) Desktop background changed to `Scull and CrossBones` * e) Busy cursor changed to animated 'breathing GasMaskt' * f) Waiting cursor changed to animated 'H2S (Sour Gas) Meter' * g) Normal cursor changed to 'animated exploding gas bottle` * h) Startup sound is changed to "Homer farts in Moes` Bar" * i) Shutdown sound is changed to "Monty Python 'I fart in your general direction'" * j) Shutdown wait screen and Shudown safe screens are replaced 5- On uninstall of the program plays wav file. "Apu 'See you in Hell'" 6- This Text file is left behind after the uninstall incase you need help. As the prankster here`s what you have to do. 1- Send your victum this file and tell them it is a program to set up their computer for the ultimate experience. Call it (GB) Great Bonus or something like that or what ever it takes to get them to install it. OR 2- Install it on someones computer when they are out for coffee. The install only takes a minute and most changes don`t occur till the system is rebooted. Then sit back and enjoy ! _______________________________________________________ HOW TO UNINSTALL GB 2.3 This Program,GB ver 2.3, was probably sent to you or installed by a prankster you Know. Nothing this program will do should cause any system Problems, but as with any install there is a chance problems could occur. The install of GB 2.3 was tested on Win95/98/2000 with no bugs noted. Unfortunately I can not restore the cursors, desktop background to the original but they will change to the windows default ones. If you have a Theme manager, such as the Plus, You can simply select a theme and all should be restored. If you have no theme manager don't worry you can still make the changes Manually. Here`s how. Just go to your Start Menu Then 1 - Click on Start 2 - Click on Settings 3 - Click on Control Panel The control Panel Window should pop up 4 - From the Control Panel window click on the 'MOUSE' icon 5 - Now select the 'Pointers' tab. From here you can browse for and install your cursors. To change your desktop background Try a Right click on your desktop background. A 'Display Properties' window should pop up. Select the 'Background' tab. From here you can browse for and install your Desktop Background OR Just go to your Start Menu Then 1 - Click on Start 2 - Click on Settings 3 - Click on Control Panel The control Panel Window should pop up 4 - From the Control Panel window click on the 'DISPLAY' icon 5 - Now select the 'Background' tab.
